Lea Houston Cloud, AIA Lea received her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Rhode Island School of Design in 1984. Her professional background has focused on educational facilities and commercial buildings. Prior to co-founding CR Studio Architects, PC, Lea worked for 13 years at Pasanella + Klein Stolzman + Berg, Architects, in New York City, becoming an Associate within five years. Designing and managing projects for a firm with a reputation for its academic work, Lea concentrated on the New York campuses. She was Project Architect for PS/IS 89, a K-8 elementary and secondary school in Battery Park City. Other projectsósuch as the Reed Library addition and renovation at the State University of New York at Fredonia, a complex, phased-construction building projectóhave received multiple design awards and public recognition. In 1996, Lea joined forces with Victoria Rospond to create CR Studio Architects, PC. Victoria Anne Rospond, AIA Victoria received her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor Fine Arts degrees from Rhode Island School of Design in 1984. During the first five years of her professional life, Victoria worked for the New Jersey developer, Mack Company, where she concentrated on designing and detailing large-scale office buildings, as well as site planning and tenant work. Looking to expand her experience, Victoria in 1989 joined the office of Demetri Sarantitis Architects as an Associate, working on a variety of commercial, residential and public projects. In 1993, Victoria took her first steps towards being an entrepreneur, which ultimately resulted in the formation of CR Studio Architects, PC, in 1996. During this period Victoria collaborated on several projects that earned distinction, including the Takashimaya Tea Box CafÈ (Interior Design Award, New York City Chapter AIA) and the Chinese Botanical Garden (Excellence in Design Award, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs). F. Jonathan Dreyfous Jonathan received his Master of Architecture degreee, with high honors, from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He also has earned degrees in German history and architectural history from Brown University. He was elected Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year, became a Ford Foundation Scholar and graduated magna cum laude. Jon has worked for architectural firms in Boston, San Francisco and Tokyo. Prior to coming to New York, he apprenticed at the office of Gunther Behnisch in Stuttgart, Germany, collaborating on the design for the IBN Forestry Research Institute. Since joining CR Studio Architects, PC, in 1996, Jon has been involved in an array of the firmís award-winning projects. He served as Project Architect for the Eileen Fisher Store, the People Center at the American Museum of Natural History and the African Burial Ground Project. He currently is working on a residential commission sited in Colorado.
